A successful employee app with ApptiveGrid

Together with the Academy for Public Health, we have developed an app that shows how our modular ApptiveGrid employee app can be flexibly adapted to the needs of any company.

A flexible solution for companies

Together with the Akademie für Öffentliches Gesundheitswesen (AÖGW) in Düsseldorf, we have developed the ÖGD News App - an application that provides important news, dates and press releases specifically for employees in the public health service and is based on the modular ApptiveGrid employee app. The content of the app is updated daily by the AÖGW editorial team via ApptiveGrid in the web browser.

Initial situation

The AÖGW wanted to ensure that its news, events and announcements could be made available to public health workers as easily and intuitively as possible - mobile and accessible. To achieve this goal, we at ApptiveGrid worked closely with the Academy to develop a simple and accessible solution.

Simple and intuitive operation

In close cooperation with the AÖGW, we defined the requirements and user stories to create a basis for the first concept of the ÖGD News app. Based on this, we developed a design that was particularly geared towards simple and barrier-free use.

After sufficient iterations and reviews of the operating concept, we finally started the implementation - and successfully completed the project in just a few weeks.

The features of the ÖGD News app

The ÖGD News App is based on our modular ApptiveGrid employee app, which was specially developed to be flexibly adapted to the requirements of different organizations. The modules can be set up as required with just a few clicks. As a result, the app offers barrier-free handling and an intuitive operating concept that is specially tailored to the needs of users in organizations. In addition, processes such as vacation management, sick notes and invoice approvals can be mapped, making the app an attractive solution for other companies to digitize internal processes. This app solution can also be introduced by other companies to improve their internal communication processes and manage content efficiently. ApptiveGrid was used as a content management system (CMS) to enable efficient maintenance and management of content.

Tailor-made solutions for app projects

With the help of our modular employee app solution, we were not only able to meet our customer's expectations in a short project time, but also offer additional functions such as push notifications and an intuitive content management system.

Thanks to ApptiveGrid as a content management system, it is possible to efficiently maintain, prepare and plan content for the ÖGD News app and publish it seamlessly in the app. An integrated form function allows external institutions to easily submit new messages and events to the Academy's editorial team, who can then publish them with little effort.

Our collaboration with the AÖGW shows how customized and user-oriented app development can lead to a successful digital solution - not only for the academy, but also for other companies that would like to introduce a similar app solution.
