What is a data processing agreement?
A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is a legally required agreement between a data controller (your company) and a data processor (ApptiveGrid GmbH) when personal data is processed on behalf of the data controller. This obligation arises from Article 28 of the GDPR.
When do I need an AVV?
You need an AVV with ApptiveGrid as soon as you process personal data in your ApptiveGrid application—that is, data that can be used to identify natural persons. Typical examples:
- Employee Data (Work Hours, Vacation Requests, Sick Leave Notifications)
- Customer data (CRM, contact forms, visitor lists)
- Location data or photos of people
- Any forms that collect names, email addresses, or similar information
Here's how to do it
- Download the AVV as a PDF.
- Print out the document or use digital signature software.
- Please sign the contract and send us a copy at kontakt@apptivegrid.de.
- We will countersign it and return the fully signed copy to you.
